What is this all about?
Essential Craftsman started in 2007 as blacksmithing 'hobby' business. With the close help of Cy Swan Scott made a lot of really neat things and installed them in the local community. You can get a look at some of these items in our first ever YouTube video which Nate made and posted in 2008! At that time Nate was in school out of state, and there simply wasn't time to continue making YouTube videos.
In 2016 Scott and Nate took another run at putting content online. At this point our videos have received over 20 Million views and inspired hundreds of thousands of people to think differently about work, tools, and craftsmanship.
Creating this content is very satisfying and we observe it creating a positive impact in our own lives and in the lives of our viewers. The feedback has been enthusiastic and overwhelming and we hope to continue producing content for years to come. If you have received value from the content we produce please consider supporting our efforts.
